Ahmad AlAhmari is an experienced executive and strategic investor, currently serving as CEO and Chair of the Board at Awad Bin Shaflout & Sons Holding Company. With over a decade of experience as an angel investor, he has backed a number of startups, both locally and internationally, bringing to the table deep expertise in financial planning, portfolio management, board governance, and a robust network across industries. Previously, Ahmad led Aramco’s Direct Investment Division, where he managed private direct investments across Saudi Arabia and the GCC for Aramco’s Pension Fund as well as managing the Fund’s international Private Equity portfolio of investments in buyouts, distressed debt, growth equity, and secondaries. Ahmad also brings unique governance expertise having led the initial establishment of the KAPSARC Endowment portfolio mandate and governance set up. He also played a pivotal role at the Public Investment Fund (PIF), spearheading the financial planning of a Multi-billion-dollar real estate initiative. Ahmad holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management, an Executive Master’s in Oil and Gas Leadership from the Geneva Graduate Institute, and a Bachelor degree in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals —reflecting a global perspective anchored in rigorous financial expertise.
